Tom Fansanello is General Manager for Rare Steakhouse in Milwaukee. Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, Tom has over 22 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh continuing his education at Waukesha County Technical College in their Hotel & Restaurant Management Program.
Tom began his Restaurant Management career working at Mr. B’s, A Bartolotta Steakhouse as Bar Manager. He quickly moved into advanced leadership positions with the Bartolotta Group culminating in his appointment as Restaurant Manager & Wine Director at Harbor House, a Milwaukee staple. Tom continued his managerial experience at Davians Catering and Events. Tom joined Rare after a successful stint as the GM at Geneva ChopHouse at Geneva Grand Resort. He was proud to help raise the restaurant’s Net Promoter score from 38% to 66.8% in a single year.
Tom sees his role at Rare as making each patron’s experience unforgettable through exceptional service and outstanding cuisine.
