Milwaukee's RARE Steakhouse Offers a Premier Dining Experience

Created by Wisconsin natives for Wisconsin diners, RARE features USDA Prime steaks aged in-house, certified sommeliers to guide guests in choosing from a selection of more than 750 wines and truly remarkable service.

With additional locations in Madison and Washington, D.C., RARE Steakhouse quickly established itself as one of the premier dining experiences in downtown Milwaukee. The restaurant boasts a classic and cozy atmosphere, complete with private dining rooms and space equipped with technology for meeting and conference capabilities. Inspired by the old nostalgic romance of great American steakhouses, the restaurant’s founders took the best elements of steakhouses across the nation and added in a local flare to create the RARE Steakhouse experience.

RARE Steakhouse strives to bring the nostalgia and romance of the classic steakhouse to life, to a time when eating out was meant to be an experience. We look forward to serving you and your guests.

"My roles as Commissioner and now Commissioner Emeritus of Major League Baseball have brought me to the best restaurants all over the world. The beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and warm and friendly staff of RARE Steakhouse are among the nest, and it is my favorite new addition to the Milwaukee restaurant scene." - Allan H. Selig, Commissioner Emeritus Major League Baseball

"Milwaukee has a lot of great restaurants, and I enjoy many of them. RARE Steakhouse brings together the best elements of a truly enjoyable dining experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel that it will be a special night. The food and beverage staff, the quality and preparation of the food and entertainment create the total package. Hospitality and entertainment are what I understand best, and RARE has put it all together."
- Don Smiley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summerfest

"The definition of RARE: unusually excellent, admirable or, in the kitchen, cooking meat for only a short time. Either way, RARE Steakhouse fits the bill."
